BOWLING GREEN, OH (Toledo News Now) - A local family is asking the community for help, after coping with an unexpected medical event for more than three months. Chad Joseph, 40, of Bowling Green, suffered acute pancreatitis and was hospitalized June 17, where he remains.
Now his coworkers at Crescent Electric Supply Company are holding a golf outing to help with medical expenses. The outing is planned for Oct. 7 at Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green. Shotgun start is at 11 a.m.
Organizers are seeking individual or foursoes golfers, flag and hole sponsorships, as well as donations. The outing includes 18 holes of golf, lunch, closest-to-the-pin contests and an awards ceremony. The cost is $100 per player.
Anyone interested in golfing, or simply supporting a good cause, should contact Dawn Proxmire dawn.proxmire@cesco.com. An account has also been set up at Fifth Third Bank, where donations can be made to the Dennis C. Joseph Benefit at any location.
Chad and his wife, Jennifer, have three sons. He has been hospitalized since Father’s Day. Due to a series of complications, Chad has required around-the-clock care, numerous surgeries and an extended stay in ICU.
Money raised will go towards Chad’s mounting medical expenses.
