BG man arrested for importuning | News
BOWLING GREEN, OH (WTOL) – A Bowling Green man previously convicted importuning was arrested on the same charge Monday.
The Wood County Sheriff's Office arrested 57 year-old Arthur H. Arrington at his Bowling Green home. Police say the arrest is the result of an investigation by the Wood County Sheriff's Office Internet Crimes Against Children Unit which began in October of 2011.
Importuning covers a variety of crimes, all of which involve an adult asking someone under the age of 18 to engage in sexual activity. Arrington is currently registered as a sex offender after being convicted of importuning in 2007.
